E-Journal #2

I've decided to work on this project alone now because I don't think Mike will not do any work on this project. So I might as well be alone now. But I've come up with some ideas to do my Ethical dilemma on. I decided maybe I should do it on Euthanasia because I've done an ethical debate on Euthanasia last year in Ethics class. So i can use the information I used from last year on this ERC project.

E-Journal #1

Today I just recently knew about the new ERC project were going to do. I've decided to work on it with Mike so it would be easier to finish the project on time when it's due.

Warriors Of Rock N Roll

Darkness. It kept our world empty. It kept our world miserable and unhappy.Darkness has been kept in our world for a long time. Not a single bright light was seen in our world. The Darkness made humanity feel depressed. The humans wanted their world to be a brighter world. But they couldn't do anything about it. The Darkness will never go away. Never.




Until one night,

A dark storm started to appear. It was so big that the people were afraid of the storm and started hiding in their homes. Hoping to survive. The storm started to get bigger, that a shining bright light was shimmering inside the storm. Then a lightning bolt hit the Earth and caused a huge explosion. The lightning bolt was shaped like the letter "S". The people hurried to see what happened. All they saw was smoke from the blast of the lightning bolt. The smoke faded away and the people started to see a man with a demon mask holding an electric bass. he started to play a heavy sound with his bass. The citizens were confused and asked the strange man "Who are you?". All of a sudden they heard some words from from the strange man. He started singing a song.

“Let there be light, and there was light,

Let there be sound, and there was sound.

Let there be drums, and there was drums.

Let there be guitar, and there was guitar, ah.

Let there be rock"

The sound from his bass got even louder and a bright light shined on the planet. Three other strange men with different masks appeared playing different types of instruments.They all continued playing the song while all the humans were all confused of this sound.
Suddenly,
 They stopped playing and the strange man with the demon mask started talking to the humans. He said his name was Gene. He was sent from the divine to help the humans defeat the Darkness and bring Light and Peace to our world forever. By destroying the Darkness they have to use the power of their electrical instruments to create a type of music called Rock N Roll. All the humans listened to him because if he can destroy the Darkness, than join him. Gene and his warriors decided to try and teach the humans the power of Rock N Roll to have enough power to get rid of the Darkness forever on this planet. So each human held a guitar in their hand and they all started to play a song.

A bright beam of light from the sound of guitars hit the sky and destroyed all of the Darkness in the atmosphere. the humans started seeing white puffy clouds and a bright yellow sun. The humans were so happy they danced in joy. Gene and his warriors looked at the humans and said "Keep On Rocking!" and flew away into the sky. Nowhere to be seen ever again.



After this glorious day, the people loved Rock N Roll and decided to make concerts where people can watch musicians play Rock N Roll on a nice bright shiny day.

Ideas


- A person from a world called the candy dimension tries to save our world  from children being forced to eat vegetables and tries to give the children more sweets to make them happy.

- A man walks to work from home and as he walks in he realizes that the door he was about to open was already being used by somebody else from the other side. So he gets knocked in the nose by the open door and faints. He starts to see the divine and the divine says that he has super powers and that he will need to use them for good. He then wakes up with a red nose and realizes that whatever he smells, he can predict the future. He is now psychic. He will use his psychic powers to help people around the world.

- A story about a bunch of old pirates who sail around the sea with their ships to find a ancient artifact that will give that person the powers of god to take over the world. But the god of fire tries to stop them from doing this with his secret fire powers to save the Earth.

-A spider gets bit by a human and gets turned into a Man-Spider. The other spiders think hes possessed or has a disease so they try to kill it. But he tries to show them that he just has the powers of a human and that he can use it to protect their homes from humans or any other living organisms.

E-Journal #2

Today in ERC class, Nicholas and I thought of some ideas to write for our E-Book. Nicholas decided that we should make the story about a prophet who is from a candy dimension who defeats all vegetables for the happiness of little children. I know this sounds abit too childish but this all we could think of ideas. We will try to think of my ideas to finish this story or we will make a different prophet next ERC class.

E-Journal #1

Today I researched about what a prophet is. Its an individual who is claimed to be the supernatural or the divine. Also Nicholas and I brainstormed some ideas on what are famous prophet will be and what he does in our E-Book. We still haven't thought of the name of our prophet yet but we hope it will be a funny story.

How Does Television Effect Our Society Today?

        HOW DOES TELEVISION EFFECT             OUR SOCIETY TODAY?

Watching too much Television can make people lazier and less fit because people are more interested in watching TV all day than doing any physical activity outside on a sunny day.

Watching too much television can damage our eyesight which means it will be harder for us to see well.

Some content on TV shows are not meant to be watched by children such as violence, coarse language and nudity. But some children decide to watch these shows and learn to swear and cause violence with other people because they become more aggressive and think it's fun and acceptable to be doing it which is not appropriate for their age.

 Instead of spending quality time with your family, people decide to watch television instead because they are stressed out and tired from doing work all day.

Advertisements on TV promoting products like cigarettes and alcohol, has resulted in large numbers of children consuming these products from watching television.

For my photo journal, I have decided to do my topic on how television effects our children today? I did some research and found out some negative effects on television like that television can make children lazier and fat because they watch television too much which makes them do less physical activity outside with friends during their free time or weekend and not doing their homework. Violence on television causes children to be more aggressive and think its fun and acceptable to hurt or kill someone in real life. Swearing in television teaches children to swear all the time which isn't appropriate for their age. Socializing with family members will not effect children to socialize because they will be more interested in watching television than spending more time with the family or helping them with chores. Watching too much television can damage our eyesight which will make it harder for us to see well.

Design:

I will provide a photo journal explaining my topic, which is how does television effect our children today? I will provide 10 photos in my photo journal that will show my audience the negative effects television can do to children in our society today. These photos will also each have a written sentence explaining the aspect of these photos.For example, I will show a picture of a fat child watching television because i want to explain how television is making him or her lazier from watching television so much instead of doing more important stuff.


Plan:

Since the beginning of this project, I planned on doing some research on what technology I wanted to do it on. I then researched some pictures on technology to give me better ideas on my topic.Then I decided what my topic will be about for this project, so I researched some information on what positive or negative impacts this technology effects on our environment to talk about in my photo journal. Then I decided that I will put a few pictures that will explain my topic.


Create:

I will create 10 photos showing how television can effect our environment. I will show pictures of what television can do to children. For example I will show a picture of a child beating up another child because television shows a lot of violence which isn't good to teach children. Also a picture of a person starring to close to the television because watching too much TV can cause you to have a bad eyesight. Why am I going to show photos that are bad things about television? Because television has a lot of negative effects on alot of people especially children.


Evaluate:

If I could evaluate myself for this project I would probably give myself a 4 because at first, i didn't really understand what to do for this project.It was very confusing! Also because I am answering the guiding question. I explained how the technology I picked effects our environment today.If I would have more time to improve on my project, I would probably show a video about my topic because I think the audience would be more interested into watching a video of photos than me explaining the meaning of these photos and also it would be more fun and easier for me to work on because I love making videos.

Process Journal #4

Today in class, instead of looking for information, I decided to look for some more pictures for this project on the internet. Even tho the teacher said we can take our own pictures instead of getting them off the internet, I decided I was going to get my own pictures from the internet because I don't have a camera to take pictures with. So I researched some pictures that i can put for my photo journal. I tried finding some funny photos to put of people doing funny faces while using a electronic device because I don't want my photo journal that I will work on soon to be boring and plus its my blog i can design it how I want it to be.

Process Journal #3

In ERC class, I finally started to do my research for this project. My task for this project is to explore how technology has affected our environment. So i started looking for some pictures and information and I found out that technology can save lives. for example, we can use our cellphones to call for help when there is an emergency. Also I found some information that technology can help us contact with other people than just meeting up with someone to have a conversation with. Also that technology can help us travel faster and give us better directions on where to go instead of traveling by foot and using a map for directions. It also helps us find more information on a screen for when we do projects like what I'm doing right now in class.

Process Journal #2

Today in ERC class, we read up on how to do the design cycle for our blogs.Unfortunately, I came to class late because I missed my bus, so all I did all class was to read and understand the design cycle. I also tried to decide who would be my partner for this project. I tried to ask Mike Bachand to be my partner, but he decided to be with Nolan. So I decided to work alone on this one.
