Euthanasia: Is It Ethical or Unethical?
Ethical Dilemma
What is Euthanasia?
Euthanasia is the practice of killing sick or injured people in a painless way for reasons of mercy.
For example, If someone has a disease and can't take the pain anymore, they ask a physician to end their lives with a lethal injection because they don't want to suffer from the pain anymore.
Euthanasia is Ethical?
Supporters believe that allowing people to have a painless death is better than forcing them to continue with their lives and continue to suffer. Even thought others think it's unethical to use Euthanasia, We believe that if the patient wants to use Euthanasia, they can do it. It's their right to choose when they want to die. Also, Euthanasia is legal here in Canada. We have the right from the government to use Euthanasia. So if people have a disease and can't take the pain anymore, they could choose to use Euthanasia if they want to end their lives without any pain. It's their choice. Not others.
